MCC Prayer Wall
Our Prayer Ministry is the heart and foundation of all of our ministries. This ministry is designed for attenders of our church to come together and seek God’s will in all areas of Church Ministry and Life.
“Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. Elijah was a man with a nature like ours, and he prayed fervently that it might not rain, and for three years and six months it did not rain on the earth. Then he prayed again, and heaven gave rain, and the earth bore its fruit.”
(James 5:16–18, ESV)

Please be in prayer for a family friend. She was med flighted to the UW in the middle of the night. Currently in the ICU. Doctors are unsure of what is going on in her body, but blood tests show she is septic. She is responsive as of last night. Able to eat soft foods and drink but is having chest pains. She has an infection in her lungs.

Pray for Patti W & her family: She went to her pulmonoligist yesterday. Her lung function is declining faster than expected. He is changing her meds in hopes that the vomiting will stop and that she can add some weight back on. A transplant is now in her future.

Ryan Update:
It was discovered that Ryan had a stroke sometime after the accident. This has caused some brain damage, they think mostly effecting his motor skills on the right side of his body. They are watching the amount of swelling on his brain closely.
His lungs are another area of concern now. They are bruised and are having trouble functioning normally.
So he is still sedated with breathing tubes in.
Please continue to keep him in your prayers.
Thank you so much.

Update on Dan
Small steps towards healing. It has been difficult as it seems like one step forward and two steps back. Dan has developed two infections one being in his heart. Water retention has come down slightly. Blood sugar has come down slowly. When things are done to quickly his blood pressure drops badly. Today we still need prayers as Dan will have some tests for his liver. This test should tell us more as to what the future hold as far as a liver transplant. As of a couple days ago a transplant could be in the future and we should know more in the next couple days. Please keep praying.

From an ELWA Doctor:
"I was having my quiet time this morning, and praying, and this thought came to me. Do I really believe in prayer? (Yes, I do). Is there something seemingly stuck somewhere, a mountain that needs to be moved? (Yes, there is). It seems so trivial, yet it has become a stone in our shoes. We have two containers right now STUCK in the freeport of Monrovia, full of drugs and medical supplies for ELWA Hospital. We really need those two containers. We have done all the things that we normally do to process these shipments. But nothing seems to be working. Maybe God is waiting on us to really pray? Please join me in praying for ELWA Hospital's two containers to be set free from the Port! "Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven." Matthew 18."
