We believe that God has given us a very powerful and particular mission and vision for our church. 

God has called each one of us (his church) to be the Point where God's Grace intersects with the real life of this world.

Therefore, we believe each one of us is to be a Grace Point everywhere we go, in everything we do, and with everyone we meet.

Our Mission:

Our Church exists to draw all people into an intimate relationship with Christ, through the authority of the Word of God, producing an authentic community of believers that invest in reaching the lost.

Our Vision:

We are committed to discipling members to become Mature Believers that are Grace Points making a difference in their Communities.

Mike Vargo, Lead Pastor

Pastor Mike has been the Lead Pastor of Marquette Community Church since July of 2017.

Dave Bosshard, Executive Pastor

Pastor Dave joined the staff in January of 2020.

David Loy, Worship Pastor

Pastor David oversees the worship ministry of the church. He joined the staff in January 2023.

Noah Williams, Youth Pastor

Pastor Noah oversees the church youth ministries for grades 7-12. He joined the staff in January 2023.

]]> In August of 1997 the Lord placed a desire in the hearts of a group of people for an evangelical church in the Montello area. This group began meeting together for prayer and Bible study.

After meeting for a year and with the help of the EFCA this group called its first Pastor, Kirt Schmidt, in October of 1998.

Under the leadership of Pastor Kirt this group continued to grow and in August of 1999 they held their first service as Marquette Community Church.

Through much prayer and generous donations from individuals and churches MCC received land and the funds to build. Through the hard work of committed members, MCC moved to their new location and building on July 4, 2004.

In 2015, Pastor Kirt stepped down as Pastor after 17 years of faithfully service.

The church called Pastor Kevin Dick to be their Interim Pastor and began the process of looking for a new Pastor.

Though the process was long and hard, the church united in prayer, mission, and grew in faith.

In May of 2017 the church called Pastor Mike Vargo to be MCC’s new Pastor.

God continues to greatly bless MCC and our Mission to “Love People to Life.”
